Public Relations and Communications Graduate from Boston University

I am a recent graduate from Boston University's College of Communication with a BS in Public Relations. I’m currently seeking job opportunities in PR, marketing, or communications where I can bring my skills, creativity, and ambition to a dynamic team and continue growing as a young PR professional.

I’m especially interested in the publishing, consumer, and entertainment sectors, where I can blend my public relations expertise with my love for storytelling, brand-building, and trendsetting. My journey started at American University in Washington, D.C., where I honed my communication and digital media skills, later transferring to BU for new experiences and opportunities. Along the way, I’ve worked in BU’s PRLab as an Account Executive, helping a nonprofit elevate their message, and contributed to BU’s PRSSA chapter by helping with social media channels, creating content, and writing blog posts. I have been an active participant in extracurriculars over the years developing more skills vital to a career in communications.

Outside of my studies and work, I run a book-themed Instagram account, @charleys_bookshe1f, where I share reviews and insights with a growing community of over 1.1k followers, reaching up to 15,000 accounts at peak engagement. Whether I’m crafting social media posts, working on digital media, or helping others, I love bringing creativity and passion into my work.

In addition to school activities and internships, I have four years of retail and recently food service experience, where I have demonstrated customer service skills, the ability to balance work and school, as well as being able to work under pressure. I can multitask and get through stressful situations calmly and effectively.

When I am not working, I enjoy exploring wherever I am at that moment, watching hockey, playing video games, making jewelry, reading, and hanging out with my friends.
